Alps Training

Just a quick update on trip out in the Alps so far, I have been based in Chamonix with a few friends who have been kind enough to let me stay with them.
My focus is firmly on my next race, and main goal for this year, the 206 mile Tor Des Geants in Italy next month. With 24,000 metres of climbing thrown in around the course, my main goal whilst being out here is to focus on covering as much vertical ascent/descent that my knees will allow me!
I hope that this will prepare me both physically and psychologically to be able to stand on the start line with confidence.
I've been out running over the mountains in France, Switzerland and Italy over the past few weeks (easier than you think being in Chamonix), having an incredible time with friends and just enjoying each day out, exploring new and exciting trails.
Instead of describing each run, I thought I would leave you with a selection of photos that capture what I have been doing....Enjoy:)
